1. Acceptance of Terms
Please carefully review these Terms and Conditions before accessing or using our website or booking any classes or workshops.
By accessing or using any portion of the site, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement, you may not access the website or utilize any of its services.

2. General Information
These terms and conditions apply to all participants attending sewing classes and workshops organized by Eco Bee Fabrics at Eco Bee Fabrics Shop, Midleton, P25D660, 101 Main Street, Townparks, co. Cork.

3. Age Requirement

Participants must be 18 years or older to attend our classes and workshops.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

• Payments: Payments can be made online via a payment link (credit card) or in person (cash or card).

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required for all classes and workshops to secure your spot. Please check the refund policy before making your purchase.

• Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 72 hours before the class begins.

• If the remaining balance is not paid by 72 hours before the class, your spot will be offered to another participant 48 hours before the class and your deposit will be non-refundable.

• Refunds: If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the class, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

• No Rescheduling: We do not allow rescheduling of classes once a booking is made.

• If we cancel a class, we will provide notice and reschedule the class for a different date. You will be notified accordingly.

5. Cancellations by Participants

• Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 48 hours of the class, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit.

• No-Shows: No-shows are non-refundable. If you miss the class, you will not be entitled to any refund.

 

6. Liability and Safety
While we have insurance in place, students are expected to use common sense when operating sewing machines and other equipment. Eco Bee Fabrics is not liable for any injuries or damages that may occur during the class. Students should follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the instructor.

 

7. Materials and Equipment

• Students are required to bring their own sewing machines.

• Supplies will be provided depending on the workshop, but students may need to bring additional materials as specified by the instructor for each session.

 

8. Code of Conduct

• All participants are expected to maintain a respectful and positive attitude toward fellow students and instructors.

• We will not tolerate rude behavior or anyone being aggressive toward classmates or the instructor. In such cases, you will be asked to leave the class, and your fee will be non-refundable.

• We do not tolerate aggressive or abusive language in any form.

 

9. Smoking, Food, and Drink

• Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises.

• Food and snacks will be provided during classes to keep us all happy and hydrated. However, you are welcome to bring your own if you wish, but please note that these are sewing classes, not a lunch break.

 

10. Health and Safety

• To attend our classes, participants must wear closed-toe shoes.

• For safety reasons, it is advisable to remove rings, bracelets, or other jewelry that could potentially get caught in sewing machines or equipment.

• If you wear glasses, please bring them to the class to ensure clear vision while operating machines.

 

11. Photography and Video Consent

• During some classes and workshops, Eco Bee Fabrics may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed.

• If you prefer not to be included in photos or videos, please notify the instructor at the start of the class, and we will respect your wishes.

 

12. Force Majeure

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or other acts of force majeure, Eco Bee Fabrics reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the class. Participants will be notified promptly, and deposits or fees may be refunded or transferred at the discretion of the business.

 

13. Late Arrival Policy

• If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, you may still attend the class. However, you will need to keep up with the rest of the group, and you may not receive as much individual assistance as the instructor will be focused on the needs of the group as a whole.

 

14. Skill Level Requirements

• Please ensure that you select the appropriate class based on your skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). If you are unsure which class to choose, feel free to contact us for guidance.

 

15. Additional Terms

• These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant updates.
