Iron on interfacing for stretch fabrics, which we offer in our store, is soft and delicate.
Suitable for stiffening all fabrics. It works perfectly as stiffening knitwear. It does not stiffen fabrics "hard", but makes the sewn clothing retain its shape and softness.
On the one side, interfacing is covered with a layer of spot glue - the glue should dissolve under the influence of temperature, not water, so we do not recommend using the steam during gluing.
Interfacing sticks on points by applying the hot iron for a moment and lightly pressing (you can do that through a cloth, or thin canvas). Interfacing should not be ironed in the way you iron clothes, because it stretches and the glued element may lose its shape.
It also works great in "disciplining" unruly knitwear - we recommend using it to glue the armpits, cleavage or covering. It can also be cut into a thin 1 cm stripes and stick it in problematic places such as the neckline or armpits, to make it more stable before sewing trimmings etc.
With its help, you can stiffen the entire product, like a jacket in a sports style with french terry or other knit. It helps with clothing from ex. jacquard, which sometimes tends to "spread" on the seams.
